Breadboard

Description

A breadboard is an electronic component that is used to quickly create prototype circuits. It can also be used as an easy way to learn about circuits as it doesn't require soldering. Some electronic components are designed to be connected to a breadboard, and almost all components that come with Arduinos can be used with a breadboard. The pins or holes on the breadboard are connected in different ways depending on their location. The two wide rows of pins, typically on both sides of the breadboard are connected the long way along the rows. The five wide rows in the middle are connected the short way across the row. This can be more easily seen in the diagram below where the black lines show which pins are connected.
